疊層式科技廠房之結構耐震補強

摘要


本研究旨在探討疊層式科技廠房的結構行為與耐震弱點。針對標的廠房現況耐震能力評估結果顯示,考慮各種載重組合條件下,結構之強度及剛性均符合法規要求。儘管如此,本標的廠房曾在五級地震下發生嚴重之震害損失,足見符合法規設計要求並不能保證科技廠房在中、小地震下免於震害風險,科技廠房之設計應有合理的性能設計標準。本研究根據標的廠房於2012年尖石地震之災損情況,以及地震反應動態模擬分析結果,設定其性能設計目標為尖石地震(TCU147)之地表加速度峰值在150gal時,L20層的加速度不超過160 gal,並評估以黏滯液流阻尼器進行耐震補強的可行性。本文考慮雙線性與非線性(alpha=0.1 與alpha=0.3)阻尼器進行評估,分析結果以雙線性阻尼器為佳,可以達到性能設計目標。即使在PGA=10gal的三級地震下,阻尼器仍可充分發揮作用,應有助於減緩敏感性設備在經常性的小地震下動輒自動停機的情況。此外,本文亦針對雙線性及非線性阻尼器進行元件測試,並發展阻尼器特性參數之識別方法,作為性能規格驗證的工具。元件測試結果,以雙線性阻尼器的性能參數與設備廠商提供的規格吻合程度較佳。

The objective of this study is to investigate the structural behavior and seismic vulnerability of high-tech manufacturing factories with multiple layers. Seismic capacity assessment of the target fab suggests that its strength and rigidity are in full compliance with code requirement under various loading combinations. Nevertheless, the fab did suffer from serious damage and great loss earlier in an earthquake of Grade , indicating that the fab cannot avoid seismic risks at small or moderate earthquakes even if the design follows stringently with the code provisions. More reasonable performance-based design criteria should be provided for the design of fab structures. Based on the damage conditions of the target fab in Jianshih earthquake of 2012 and corresponding dynamic response analysis, this sudy suggests a performance-based design criterion that the peak floor acceleration of level L20 cannot exceed 160 gal under the earthquake of the Jianshih earthquake recorded at station TCU147 with its PGA scaled to 150gal. This thesis then proposes to examine the feasibility of using viscous fluid dampers for seismic retrofit of this fab. Both bilinear and nonlinear (with alpha=0.1 and alpha=0.3 ) dampers have been considered, and it turns out that the bilinear damper performs better than its nonlinear counterparts and it meets the performance-based design criterion. The dampers are effective and sufficient even if the intensity of the earthquake is as small as 10 gal (Grade III), and considered helpful in preventing automatic shutdown of sensitive manufacturing tools under frequent small earthquakes. In addition, this thesis has conducted component tests of both the bilinear and nonlinear dampers and developed a methodology to identify the characteristic parameters of the dampers for performance verification. Component test results indicate that the identified parameters of the bilinear damper agree very well with the specifications provided by the vendor.
