台灣電信業近年來已成為艱苦產業。電信市場總營收逐年下滑,且主要營收來源4G的基本營運指標ARPU(Average Revenue Per User,每用戶平均收入)自開台即呈現拋物線式下降,若不從根本改變商業模式,未來5G時代仍看不到ARPU與總營收翻轉的可能性。 5G產值主要分為三塊:硬體(終端裝置、網路設備等等)25%、直接的網通服務15%、間接的應用服務佔60%,顯見5G的兵家必爭之地在於「應用端」。因此5G時代,必須開拓與垂直產業合作的間接應用服務,發展一套透過企業或政府窗口,間接服務消費者的「Business to Business to Consumer(B2B2C)」或「Business to Government to Consumer(B2G2C)」的新商業模式,藉由產業價值鏈的延長與擴大,創造新的營收來源。 本論文廣泛收集各國目前5G業務發展的情況,歸納出在台灣可行的5G業務,並分析電信營運商如何透過5G與垂直產業合作,提出商業建議。
The telecommunications in Taiwan has been in crisis in recent years The total revenue and the operating indicators :4G ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) have been declining year by year.If the business model wasn’t changed,we wouldn't see the possibility of ARPU and total revenue rebound back in 5G era. The output value of 5G is divided into three parts: hardware 25%, direct Network services 15%, and indirect application services 60%. It is obvious that the battlefield of 5G is the "application side". Therefore, in the 5G era, telecommunications must cooperate with vertical industries, and develop the business model as "Business to Business to Consumer (B2B2C)" or "Business to Government to Consumer (B2G2C)". Through the extension and expansion of the industrial value chain, telecommunications could create new sources of revenue. This reserach summarizes the feasible 5G services in Taiwan and analyzes how telecom operators can collaborate with vertical industries through 5G.
