本論文設計及實作一個頻率範圍為3.2GHz~4.2GHz的±45度雙極化的偶極天線,具有反射損耗(Return loss)皆在14dB以下,半功率波束寬(HPBW)為65±5度,頻寬比為27%,可應用於第五代通訊系統的sub-6GHz內的小型基地台天線使用。 天線使用印刷電路板製作,可達到重量輕量化,且易於製作,於佈建基地台時要求其輕巧為一大優勢。論文中使用HFSS電磁模擬軟體進行輻射體、balun模擬最佳化組成一個±45度雙極化天線,繼而調整反射板的寬度與金屬側牆高度且達到半功率波束寬(HPBW)為65±5度
This thesis reports the development of a dual polarization dipole antenna ;it's operating frequency is ranging from 3.2 GHz to 4.2GHz with return loss greater than 14dB.The the half-power beamwidth is 65±5 degree .This antenna is made of printed circuit board ;therefore ,it's low profile and lightweight makes it possible for application in base-station Specifically , the width of reflectors and height of metal side walls were optimized using Electromagnetic full-wave simulator (HFSS) to reduce cross- polarization and maintain the consistent far-field pattern within the frequency band. Such an antenna can be a potential candidate of base-station antenna for the sub-6GHz fifth generation communication system.
