The Conservation of Resources (COR) theory was employed to look at the role of environmentally specific transformational leadership (ESTL), job satisfaction, and green psychological climate play on both task-related and proactive pro-environmental behaviors (PEB). A total of 369 participants participated in a two-wave survey. The results found that environmentally ESTL, job satisfaction, and green psychological climate were positively correlated with both task-related and proactive PEB. Even though job satisfaction and green psychological climate did not moderate the relationship between ESTL and PEBs, there was a three-way interaction among ESTL, job satisfaction, and PEBs. Our theory and findings contribute to the nascent environmental management literature in comprehending PEB in the workplace.
