A Service-Oriented Solution for Software Live Update

摘要


隨著PC、Notebook 產業競爭與日俱增,其生產設計時程與生命周期不斷的壓縮。或或者是device相容性問題,有時候賣出一段時間後,才發現其相容性問題或是其他不可遇期的問題。 使用目前主機板廠或Notebook廠的自動更新軟體,則因相容性關係,亦可能無法針對特殊有問題的PC規格來達到即時且更有彈性需求。 這個以服務導向為基礎提供一個軟體自動更新的方案能有效的提高相容性及擴充性,可解決上述問題。它使用Apache Muse,進而開發以WSDM為基礎的系統,然後依照功能需求設計的系統架構。

With the growing of computer industry''s competition day after day.the design lead time and the life cycle are continuously compressed . Sometimes customers may encounter device compatibility problems or other unpredicted issues after the products were sold. The current live update solution can''t meet the in-time and flexible requirements to solve the issues for special case. This service-oriented based software live update solution can effectively enhance the compatibility, expansion possibility and solve the above mentioned problems. This system architecture is developed based on WSDM ( Web Service Distributed Management ) using Apache Muse depending on requested functions.
