臺灣當代商戰小說主題研究

摘要

臺灣戰後經濟一片蕭條，在國民政府有心扶植之下，逐漸有繁榮興盛之姿。尤其六、七○年代開始，政府積極設立加工出口區，獎勵出口貿易、提供優惠條件等歡迎外商設廠，於是美日等跨國企業紛紛來臺投資；經過不斷的模仿與學習，在技術與資本方面漸漸能夠獨當一面，臺灣的經濟成長更是如日中天。工商業興起、大都市產生，「商戰小說」順勢發展，描繪出臺灣當代社會在經濟繁榮下的變動歷程。
　　眾多文學評論家應該同意八○年代的代表文學之一是「都市文學」，然而底下包含許多文類及題材經常被略而不提。本論文即以「臺灣當代商戰小說主題研究」為題，企圖從都市文學的脈絡下，釐清商戰小說的文學發展與定位，進而從長期遭受文學史的漠視中，重新還原其應有之價值與地位。
　　本文第一章先行清理前人研究概況，試圖從都市小說的評論中，得到關於論述商戰小說的資料；接著定義商戰小說該文類，從眾多文本裡選定討論之範疇，並說明預期達成之目標。第二章開始就商戰小說進行概述，探究經濟發展的助益到文類的形成與萌發，再分析文本與業別之對應關係及作者的學經歷背景。第三章至第五章則就商戰小說之文本內容進行歸納與整理，將主題分為三大部分，分別是「工作場域的權謀與鬥爭」、「勞資雙方的對立與傾軋」、「女性地位的提升與淪陷」，透過分類，將商戰小說之主題有系統地進行析論，以對照當代社會脈動與經濟發展，從中瞭解文學與現實的相關性。結論部分除全文回顧之外，則著眼於商戰小說的未來展望，筆者試著提出不同途徑與面向，以供後繼研究者能持續朝此文類研究，避免商戰小說如曇花一現，永遠湮沒於文學史之中而無人問津。

The economy in Taiwan had been depressed after the war; however, it has been prospering under the strong government. During the sixties and the seventies, the government encouraged the foreign investment by building export processing zones, awarding export business, and providing preferential terms. Therefore, many American and Japanese companies have invested heavily in businesses in Taiwan. Gradually, the economy and industries in Taiwan developed rapidly. ‘Business and War novels’ which describe the history and the revolution in the economy of Taiwan were developed at that time.
Most literary critics believed that Urban Novels are a kind of typical literary genre in the eighties. However, many different literary genres and themes are often neglected. Therefore, the main focus of this thesis is on the investigation into Business and War Novels in Taiwan. It aimed to clarify the development and role of Business and War Novels. Besides, it would further restore their value and positions in the literary circle.
The first chapter of the thesis is a brief introduction of much previous research on Urban Novels, from which the information dealing with Business and War Novels would be gathered. Next, the researcher would define the genre of Business and War Novels, select proper texts that would be discussed in the thesis, and reveal the goals that would be achieved. The second chapter dealt with the discussion on Business and War Novels to investigate the benefits of the development of economy and the formation and development of literary genres. The relationship between the texts and the job categories and the background of the authors would also be fully analyzed and discussed. From Chapter three to Chapter five, the contents of the texts would be sorted into three main topics: Conflicts in Work Places, Conflicts between Employers and Employees, and the Rise and Fall of Women’s Position. The topics of Business and War Novels would be analyzed systematically to figure out the correlation between literature and reality. The conclusion of the thesis would provide not only a brief summary of the study, but also future prospective of Business and War Novels. Implications of future research would also be indicated.
