以混成網路服務及關懷協助學生解決問題以提昇其學習成效

Using MSN,email,ftp services and attention to help students solve problems and promote their learning motivation

摘要

資訊科技養成訓練班在為期半年約600小時的訓練中，必須學習多種知識領域及專業技術，在傳統的實體教室之外，學生可以和老師互動的時間和空間實在有限；老師是否能使用幾乎人人都會而且常在使用的網路服務來延伸教室之外的學習活動，協助學習者解決生活上和學習上的問題與困擾，進而使其在穏定的學習情緒和良好的學習動機之下，獲得專業技術的能力及更大的信心以投入就業職場。
學習者成員其背景與需求是多樣化的，若以單一的方式來和學習者互動，提供學習支援，將會失去溝通與學習的彈性；老師可以在日常生活中和課堂中多一些觀察，多一些巧思，針對班級或學習個體，以關懷為核心，因人、因時、因地、因案例之不同，挑選最適合的模式來進行協助學生的活動。
本研究所採用的網路服務是師生隨手可得的電子郵件、即時通訊和ftp檔案共享服務；以班級經營和課程經營做為研究進行的方式；使用達成技能和情意目標所需的方法策略；並以問卷調查、實際觀察及質的調查來做結果分析與討論；進而建議一個線上關懷系統，以供師生使用，協助老師了解學生的學習狀況提供適時而即時的幫助，以促進學生的學習動機。
本研究印證老師以關懷為核心，透過網路服務對學習者提供生活上和學習上的協助與加油打氣，學生真的很喜歡，不只感受到老師的關懷情意，對協助學生解決問題及促進學生的學習動機都有幫助；同時找出針對不同性質的案例選用不同網路服務，及針對不同學習者選用不同網路服務的模式；活動中並發現學生和老師的互動情形會影響到學生是否繼續留在教室聽課的意願。

The backgrounds and requirements of students are quite different. It’s not flexible to use single way to interact with each student, such as face to face talking in class.

Since it’s quite convenient to access email, MSN and FTP services, each one could be a useful tool to improve the effects of learning. Teachers can choose proper one of them for each case instead of using only one way to handle all the cases.

In this paper by conducting a real class and interacting with students through emails, MSN and FTP services then analyzing the results of polling, observations of log files from email, MSN and FTP services and individual interviews, the author proposed an online attentive system to help teachers to understand the learning situations of students, and give timely assistances to promote their learning motivation.
