Taiwan locates on high seismicity pacific ring of fire. In order to avoid damage to the buildings and property loss affected by earthquake, must be have reasonable and reliable structural damage assessment, therefore establishing fragility curves of structures. To compare fragility curves of different seismic design code with practical five floors reinforced concrete structures in this study, through non-linear static pushover analysis and with reference to suggest parameters of damage from Taiwan Residential Earthquake Insurance Fund (TREIF), and the repair cost are considered herein. The results show that the cases in accordance with TREIF claims are more favorable to policyholders and with the revised seismic design code, reflects the seismic capacity of buildings have increasing trend.
