戰前印尼華人作家郭德懷之社會關懷

摘要


郭德懷是戰前印尼華人文學最活躍的作家。他不僅是作家、編輯、出版人,也是社會評論家。透過郭德懷作品之分析,本文發現到,郭德懷之作品涵蓋了:反映現實社會、批評負面社會,及教導社會之特性。而其作品主要反映了印尼華教與華社之問題。在反映這些問題的同時,他也表示出嚴厲的批評,以及建設性的建議。此外,郭德懷也時常利用其作品宣傳其社會觀點。於是,其作品除了反映了當時社會,也隱藏了其社會觀點。緣此,本文試圖以郭德懷作品之分析來探討其社會關懷。 本文在研究郭德懷的社會關懷時,使用了高德曼的「發生論結構主義」之研究方法,探討形成郭德懷作品世界觀的因素,以及他對當時華人社會之看法。亦藉由文獻分析研究法,經由文獻蒐集、整理郭德懷之作品及印尼華人社會有關的資料,並且將已尋得的資料為基礎,作為分析時的基礎。

Kwee Tek Hoay was the most active writer in pre-war Indonesian Chinese literature. He was not only a writer, editor and publisher, but also a well-known social critic. Based on Kwee’s works analysis, it shows that Kwee’s works have three major characteristics: reflecting the actual community, criticize the negative side of community and enlighten the community. Kwee’s works mostly reflected the problem of Indonesian Chinese education and organization. Beside of describing those society problems, Kwee also wrote a lot of comments and constructive recommendations. In addition, Kwee also use his works to propagate his social views. Thereupon, his works not only reflecting the situation of Indonesian Chinese community, but also conceal his social views inside. Therefore, the main purpose of this research is to analyze Kwee’s social concern within his works. This research was based on Lucien Goldmann’s ‘Structuralism Genetic’ method for analyzing the factors that affect the world perfectives of Kwee’s works, and also his perspective towards the Indonesian Chinese community. Beside of practicing ‘Structuralism Genetic’ method, this research also follows ‘reference research’ method to collect references and arranges the data that related to Kwee’s research. And this collected data was aimed to be the foundation of this research.
