本文探討不同的創意階段,外在動機因子對創造力的影響。在本篇研究中,我們探討兩個外在動機因子(即預期評價和肯定能力的獎賞)對創意的點子產生的兩個階段(即產生反應和確認反應)及最終方案的創造力的影響。以兩個實驗進行研究。實驗一檢驗產生反應階段的影響,參與者45名,結果表明預期外在評價不會經由任務內動機進而影響問題解決的點子數及新奇點子的數量。另一方面,在產生反應階段,給予肯定能力獎賞的操弄,對於內在動機及點子數有正向的影響,但並不會透過的內在動機產生大量的新奇想法。實驗二表明,在改善的想法適宜性和創造力,預期外在評價沒有顯著的效果。最後,操縱的肯定能力獎賞的個人,在改善的點子的適用性有顯著的效果,但並不會提高最終方案的創造力。根據本研究結果,提出理論與實務意涵、研究限制,和對未來的研究建議以供後續研究參考。
Effects of two extrinsic motivators (external evaluation expectation and recognition reward that confirms competence) of the creative idea production stages (i.e., response generation and response validation) and on final program creativity were examined in this study. Results from two laboratory study. Study 1 (N= 45) showed that evaluation expectation did not generate a significantly large number of ideas and did not generate novel ideas on response generation. On the other hand, during response generation, individuals who be manipulated reward that confirms competence generated large numbers of ideas, but did not through the intrinsic motivation effect to the number of novel ideas. Study 2 (N= 45) showed that evaluation expectation did not have a significantly effect in improving idea appropriateness and creativity. Finally, individuals who be manipulated reward that confirms competence had a significantly effect in improving idea appropriateness, but did not improve final program’s creativity. Implications, limitations, and suggestion for future research were discussed.
