本研究旨在探討嘉義縣消防人員面臨死亡事件之學習需求,研究目的如下: 一、瞭解消防機關訓練課程辦理現況。 二、探究消防人員面臨死亡事件之心理衝擊。 三、瞭解消防人員面對死亡事件之學習需求。 四、依據本研究結果提出建議,作為政策制定、課程規劃及消防人員輔導策略上的參考。 本研究採用質性研究,並以半結構式的訪談,對嘉義縣12位消防人員進行訪談。透過本研究的實施獲致以下結論: 壹、消防機關訓練課程 一、消防機關的訓練課程內容以消防專業技能為主,無死亡教育課程。 二、常年訓練是消防局重要訓練課程機制,內政部消防署與消防局可多加應用。 貳、消防人員面臨死亡事件的心理衝擊 一、面對死亡事件,消防人員出現的心理反應,以逃避為最多。 二、消防人員面對死亡事件之後以自己調適為主,若沒有適當的調適,容易導致消防人員選擇離開消防工作。 三、消防人員普遍認為心理輔導課程需要辦理,但是消防局不重視與無能力辦理。 參、消防人員面臨死亡事件之學習需求的內涵 一、消防人員對於面臨死亡事件的學習需求,必須透過適當的機制予以引導。 二、針對消防人員面臨死亡事件的學習需求,需要專業人員協助規劃相關課程。 三、消防機關在建構死亡教育相關之課程內涵,應以知識、技能與態度為主。 四、心理輔導與相關課程的實施方式與策略應考量不同年資分別辦理。 五、不同年資的消防人員對於心理輔導與死亡教育課程之實施有不同意見與看法,其背後原因與工作經歷有關。 六、消防局無專責的單位承辦死亡教育的相關課程。
The study is to discuss the learning needs for death events for firefighters in Chiayi County. The purposes of this study are describes as follows: 1.To understand the present situation of the training courses in Fire Department. 2.To explore the firefighters’ mental shock facing with the deaths. 3.To understand the firefighters’ learning needs facing with the deaths. 4.To make suggestions for policy development, curriculum planning and counseling for firefighters according to the results of this study. This study is made based on qualitative research methods. The writer interviewed 12 firefighters in Chiayi County with semi-structured interviews and finally got the following results. 1、Training courses in Fire Department. (1) The training courses in Fire Department now are mainly developed for professional skills, not for death education. (2) The perennial training is important in Fire Station, and can be widely applied in National Fire Agency Ministry of Interior. 2、The strikes of the Firefighters on facing the deaths. (1) After experiencing the deaths of others, firefighters mostly evade the reality. (2) Firefighters generally agreed that psychological counseling courses are needed for them, but the Fire Station pays little attention and is incapable of offering related courses. 3、The content of the learning needs for facing death events. (1) The learning needs of facing death evens for firefighters must be led through proper mechanisms. (2) The learning needs of facing death events for firefighters are necessary to be planned by professionals. (3) The planning of death education program should be emphasized the importance of knowledge, skills and attitudes. (4) How to carry out the courses for counseling and death education for firefighters depends on their different seniorities. (5) Because of individual working experience, firefighters with different seniorities hold different views about the implementation of courses for counseling and death education. (6) There are no special departments in Fire Station to undertake related courses for death education
