臺灣在東亞地緣政治的戰略地位：以分析美國、日本、中國的觀點為例

摘要

冷戰過後，國際情勢產生極大的轉變，原本由美、蘇兩極所建構的世界體系頓時成了由美國所主導的一超多強體系，而隨著中國內部做出經濟改革以來，在國際事務上的影響力也日益增加；而日本在走過二次世界大戰的衰敗之後，也靠其經濟及技術力量迅速振作起來，在現有國際秩序中佔有一席之地。

臺灣正位於目前國際體系中五大強權勢力中其三的接壤處，在此種情形下臺灣應該如何自處？本篇論文將以地緣政治的角度分析美國、日本、中國這三個國家對於臺灣抱持何種想法，以及這些國家意欲維持或改變現狀（將臺灣納入管轄）的理由為何。

本篇論文首先將介紹地緣政治學的歷史發展背景以及脈絡，再依序介紹現行主流地緣政治理論，次章再以地緣政治理論背景分析美國、日本、中國對於臺灣抱持何種態度。在了解完這三大強權勢力的態度之後，藉此得知臺灣在如此情形下，有何種策略可供臺灣在未來得以繼續獨立自主的生存下去，並分析各種策略將對臺灣產生何種影響，以供後續作出抉擇。

After the Cold War, there was a massive change in international situation. The World System builds up by U.S. and USSR originally then became a "One Super-power Multi-polar" system lead by U.S. suddenly. After China has reformed its internal economic affairs, there is more and more influence of China in International Affairs. And pass through the failure of WWII, Japan get out of the pass and rise again very soon depend on its power of economic and technology.

Taiwan in the border of three of five World Powers of the international system now. In such situation, which stance should Taiwan bear? In this essay, will analyze U.S., Japan, and China’s stance to Taiwan from geopolitics aspect, and why these country desire to maintain the status quo or change the status quo (let Taiwan belong to it).

This essay will introduce the history background of geopolitics, and then introduce the mainstream geopolitics theory sequentially. Then use the theory of geopolitics to analyze the stance of U.S., Japan, and China to Taiwan. After realize the three Powers’ stance to knowing in such situation, which strategy could support Taiwan surviving in the future world, and analyze each strategy will generate what influences to help make the final decision.
