This study aimes to investigate the emotional event occurring in the teaching and interpersonal relationships of homeroom teachers, and to explore their emotional rules behind the cultural context from the poststructural perspective of Zembylas, M.. The data are collected from interviewing three first and second grade homeroom teachers who are working in elementary school, and the interviewing data are analyzed from the Zembylas’ perspective. The result shows that the emotional rules of first and second grade homeroom teachers are constructed by the interactive between themselves and the cultural context. And under the same cultural context, their emotional rules have common and different points. The emotional rules can be the way to describe trajectory of teachers' professional development. Finally, based on the findings, the study proposes some suggestions for school administration, teacher further education and the future researchers.
