數位電視機上盒之設計與實作

摘要


在目前網路普及的現在,提供了更多人與人之間的溝通管道。除了傳統的交換式公眾電話(Public Switched Telephone Network)外,近年來,基於VoIP技術的網路通訊軟體迅速崛起,提供更多元的通訊管道,並節省昂貴的通訊費用。 本論文之研究目的是為銀髮族長輩設計一套具視訊通訊功能的多媒體系統。系統中整合開放原始碼的Linphone視訊通訊軟體、YouTube網頁瀏覽器並實作一個基於Gstreamer函式庫的影片播放器。透過簡單的介面操作,銀髮族長輩可以透過家中網路輕鬆的與家人通訊或是觀看多媒體影片。 本系統實作於ARM架構的TI Pandaboard平台上,並提供兩種遙控多媒體系統的方式,分別是藍芽遙控器與無線鍵盤滑鼠。其中藍芽遙控器使用Android智慧型手機進行實作,使用者可以透過手機安裝app當作遙控器,操作系統所提供的所有功能。

The Internet has changed the way people communicate with each other. Communications are no longer limited to the use of cell phones and telephones. Internet communication software based on VoIP technologies are becoming extremely popular for its low cost and availability. The purpose of this thesis is to design a multimedia system with video communication for the elderly. The system integrates the Linphone video communication software, web browser and video player. Using a simple interface operate, the elderly can easily communicate with their families or watching the movie. The system is implemented on the TI Pandaboard platform which is an ARM architecture. Two kinds of remote control methods are provided, including Bluetooth remote control and wireless keyboard and mouse respectively. Bluetooth remote control feature is implemented on the Android smart phone. Users can install the application on the phone as a remote control.
