企業為確保營運不中斷,須研訂災難復原計畫。傳統的災難復原計畫常被視為是中小企業資訊運作的挑戰,需要花費大筆硬體設備費用及高昂的維護成本;大型企業雖有足夠的財力來建置設備,卻因害怕會造成生產設備問題致無法經常性演練,當真正的災難事件發生後,讓大型企業無法快速復原蒙受重大損失。 本研究將災難復原分為「異地備援」及「資料備份」兩種模式,並運用雲端運算的技術來改善災難復原。本研究利用虛擬化軟體來建置「異地備援」機制,可隨時啟動軟體來測試異地備援機制,並能隨著需求來彈性設備的資源使用量。本研究另利用雲端儲存軟體來建置「資料備份」機制,將資料即時儲存在雲端設備裡,在原始資料遺失或損壞時,資料能快速復原。本文使用軟體方式模擬雲端運算技術,並以實例驗證在災難復原上的可行性,以提供企業在災難復原機制的參考。
Enterprise makes disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity. As a challenge for IT operations, disaster recovery costs continue to rise but IT budgets shrink or remain the same. Even companies are able to afford to build a disaster-proof infrastructure (including advanced hardware and software), they fail to rehearsal regularly due to afraid to cause problems in the production environments. In this study, we use cloud computing technologies to improve disaster recovery capability. For example, we utilize virtualization software to build/test a "remote backup" mechanism and cloud storage software to build a "data backup "mechanism instantaneously storing the data in the “cloud drive”, which is able to recover data when encountering data loss. Through this preliminary study, we found feasibility evidence supporting the cloud technologies throw lights on the future research direction in disaster recovery.
