The Difficulties and Needs of Foreign Spouse Upon Facing Marital Violence - From the Viewpoints of South-East Asian Female Interpreters

摘要

本研究主要透過東南亞籍女性通譯人員實務服務經驗及觀察，探討外籍配偶面對婚姻暴力問題之困境與需求，故以東南亞籍女性外籍通譯人員為研究對象，訪談9位通譯人員。
本研究採用質性研究法，以半結構式訪談蒐集資料，以主題分析研究資料，最後歸納出五個主題: （一）隱忍姑息埋危機；（二）溝通正視勿虐偶；（三）婆媳相處難認同；（四）尊重援助彌傷害；（五）教育宣導逐關懷。
本研究依據研究結果提出對受理婚姻暴力案件人員、政府政策及未來研究之建議。

Abstract
This study investigates the difficulties and requirements of foreign spouses when they encounter marital violence mainly through the practical service experience and observation of South-East Asian female interpreters. Therefore, the South-East Asian female interpreters are the subjects of the study and we interview 9 interpreters totally.
This study adopts qualitative research method to collect the information against semi-structured interview and to study the information against thematic analysis. At last, five topics are summarized:
A、 crisis caused by endurance and indulgence.
B、no spouse battering but communicate and face squarely instead.
C、relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is hard to get
acceptance.
D、injured can be recovered by respect and support.
E、sympathy against educational propaganda.
This study proposes the advice for the staff undertaking the marital violence, government policy and foresight study according to the results.
