本研究旨在了探討公共汽車駕駛員老化知識與態度與兩者之相關性,以作為日後建構友善高齡運輸環境之參考依據。為達研究目的,本研究採問卷調查法,以FAQ1量表與黃錦山教授所編製之老化態度量表為研究工具,針對中興巴士、光華巴士、首都客運與臺北客運,屬於臺北市聯營公車路線之駕駛員為研究對象,共發出600份調查問卷,回收550份有效問卷,有效回收率為92%。所得之資料以SPSS 18.0統計軟體進行分析,本研究之研究結果如下: 一、公共汽車駕駛員之老化知識程度明顯不足。 二、公共汽車駕駛員之老化態度為中間稍偏正向。 三、公共汽車駕駛員之老化知識程度會因為性別、年齡、教育程度與服務年資而有明顯之不同。 四、公共汽車駕駛員之老化態度會因為性別及個人與祖父母或老人相處互動情形而有明顯之不同 五、公共汽車駕駛員「老化知識」與「老化態度」具有正相關 最後,根據本研究之目的與研究結果,提出相關建議,以作為相關政府機關、公共汽車客運業者、公共汽車駕駛員及未來研究之參考。
This study aimed to research on bus drivers’ knowledge and attitudes toward aging and the correlation between the two. The results of this study provided the suggestions to age-friendly transportation environment for future development. To achieve the purpose of this study, the research method used in this study was survey method by administrating a questionnaire. The researcher employed Palmore’s facts on aging quiz (FAQ 1) and a 4-point Likert scale designed by Dr. Chin-Shan Huang. Quota sampling was adopted by taking 600 bus drivers in Taipei City Bus system from Chung-shing Bus Transportation Co. Ltd, Kuang-hua Bus Transportation Co. Ltd, Capital Bus Transportation Co. Ltd and Taipei Bus Transportation Co. Ltd. A total of 550 effective questionnaires were secured resulting in a response rate of 92%. Data were tested by SPSS 18.0 and the results were presented below: 1. The bus drivers’ knowledge of aging and elderly in this study are obviously insufficient. 2. The bus drivers’ attitude toward aging and elderly are approaching positive. 3. There are significant differences between four demographic variables of bus drivers (including gender, age, education level and seniority) and knowledge toward aging and elderly. 4. There are significant differences between two demographic variables of bus drivers (including gender and contact with the elderly) and attitude toward aging and elderly. 5. The bus drivers' knowledge and attitude toward aging and elderly are positively correlated. Finally, according to the purpose of this study and findings, researcher provided suggestion to government department, bus operators, bus drivers, and future studies.
