殘缺與完整－蝴蝶穿越系列小說研究

摘要

在網路小說界，一位筆名蝴蝶的作家相當受到歡迎，其作品數量眾多，且擁有的閱讀者也非少數。網友點閱蝴蝶的部落格「夜蝴蝶館」與「蝴蝶二館」每日破萬，留言者也相當多。但目前在學界，將蝴蝶網路小說作為研究對象的論文仍屈指可數，故蝴蝶網路小說有研究論述的空間。在蝴蝶近百本的網路作品中，穿越系列主要敘述的是一些身、心靈具有殘缺或遺憾的男女主角所展開的小說，企圖顛覆一般「俊男美女」的人物塑造與「英雄救美」的情節。轉以「長相平凡」，或曾遭毀容、肢體殘缺等的男女作為主角，並以女性拯救男性的主題創作。故有別於傳統言情小說的情節、人物塑造，而產生不同的效果。另外因蝴蝶乃網路小說家，因此常加入當代網路、電玩、電影、動漫等多元語彙。本文將先針對網路小說與言情小說的定義作區分，接著透過細讀其作品，以整理其書寫特色、論述其人物形象可能再現的意涵，並爬梳蝴蝶穿越系列小說的時代背景和語彙，再總結蝴蝶的穿越系列小說。

Among emerging writers who post their literary works on the Internet, Seba [a pseudonym] is one of remarkable writers who attract many readers’ attention. Her novels posted on her websites known as “Seba’s Night Club” and “Seba No. 2” have been well received. Every day her blogs attract more than ten thousand readers to surf and respond various topics. Most of her narratives are romantic series of time travel. Yet, unlike most popular romances of handsome and strong heroes who rescue beautiful and vulnerable ladies, the protagonists in her novels online usually are in defect either physically or emotionally. Moreover, her romances usually depict how the heroines encourage, save, or re-boost male protagonists, which challenge traditional romances. She also applies many contemporary vocabularies from the Internet, video games, movies, motion pictures of carton to distinguish her novels online from those in print. Yet, so far the study of her fiction online is comparatively scarce in literary criticism. Therefore, this thesis aims at studying her novels, especially the series of time-travel posted on her blogs. In my thesis, I first define related notions, such as Internet novels, romances, etc., and then elaborate the background of her romantic series before my close readings of the selected texts and related symbolic implications. Next, I compare the similarities and differences between the romantic series on the Internet and those in print before my conclusion.
