國中公民科教科書及其能力指標之分析

摘要

本研究旨在探討國中公民科教科書之內涵，尤其關注其所納入而欲達成能力指標之數量分布狀況，以及與課程內容相對應的情形。研究對象以市佔率較高的南一版、康軒版、翰林版等三版本為主，各包含其一至六冊，合計共18本的國中公民科教科書。採內容分析法，探究其所列出的社會學習領域能力指標之數量分布狀況，以及能力指標與課程內容相對應的情形。
本研究的結果發現如下：
一、三版本引用次數最多的單條能力指標皆屬第五主題軸。
二、三版本皆以第四學習階段能力指標為主要編輯課程的依據。
三、三版本各冊引用的能力指標，其所屬之主題軸雷同。
四、三版本教科書所列出的能力指標，皆未涵蓋全部的社會學習領域第四學習階段能力指標。
五、三版本編排課程與對應能力指標方式有其共通點：
1.針對課文提及的專有名詞或較艱深的概念皆有額外的補充說明；
2.引用圖片及相關文字說明來補強概念；
3.針對某段落重點設計相關問題，讓學生藉由練習來複習該課重點及增強相關能力；
4.三版本各冊所強調的主題是雷同的。
六、三版本皆有納入為設計課程的依據，卻無實際對應內容的能力指標。
最後本研究再根據研究結果提出對教科書編選、公民科教師教學及未來研究提出相關建議。

The aim of this study is to investigate the content of Civics textbooks, especially the distribution of the competence indicators and how the indicators correspondent with the textbook content. We compare the distribution of the competence indicators in Social Studies among three various editions, Nan-yi, Kang-xuan, and Han-lin. With content analysis, this study analyzes how these indicators relate to the textbooks.
The major findings of this study are summarized as follows：
1. The competence indicator quoted the most in these three editions belongs to the Fifth theme.
2. All the three various editions show that the competence indicators in the fourth learning stage are the basis of textbook editing.
3. The competence indicators quoted in the three editions are identical with its themes.
4. The competence indicators of the three editions do not include all the ones in the fourth learning stage.
5. The three editions and the competence indicators have things in common：
（1）The proper nouns and abstract concepts in the textbooks are explained as supplements.
（2）The three editions use pictures and words to explain the concepts.
（3）The three editions design questions to the important paragraphs to reinforce students’ ability.
（4）The emphasis on topics are the same in these three editions.
6. The three editions are all designed by rule, but they are not correspondent with the competence indicators.
Finally, according to the findings of this study, some suggestions were contributed to publishers, teaching, curricula, and further studies.
