本研究採用「台灣教育長期追蹤資料庫研究第一波至第四波」會員版資料,從 社經地位路徑與父母參與路徑切入探討國中一年級、國中三年級、高中二年級及高 中三年級學生學習成就的影響,並採用潛在成長曲線模型探討臺灣青少年潛在成 長軌跡,研究發現父母參與對子女學習成效影響是存在的,而父母社經地位需透過 父母參與對子女學習成效才產生影響,換言之高社經地位的父母雖擁有良好資源, 須運用 Coleman 的社會資本概念,透過父母高度參與子女學習活動提高子女學習 成效,這說明父母參與的重要性。 研究結果發現:臺灣青少年學習成長軌跡的發展是一種非線性遞增的成長曲 線;學生的學習起始狀態會影響學習成長速率;父母參與對子女學習成效有顯著正 向的影響;父母社經地位透過父母參與間接效果對子女學習成效有顯著正向的影 響。
This study adopts membership data, collected from first to forth wave of Taiwan Education Panel Survey. And subject to the affection of socioeconomic status and parents’ participation to academic performance of students from first and second grade in junior high school and second and third grade from senior high school. By disposing the Latent Growth Curve Modeling, the trace of adolescent latent growth has indicated an affection of parents’ participation to their offspring. However regarding to parents’ socioeconomic status, according to the concept of Coleman’s social cost, a high status will only be effective when parents have involved the education of their offspring which emphasize the importance of parents’ participation. The result shows the trace of Taiwan Adolescent Learning Growth Curve posse the property of nonlinear increasing curve and the initial status will affect the growth rate. Also a positive significant relationship exists between parents’ participation and their offspring’s performance. And through participation, a positive effect between the indirect effect of parents’ socioeconomic status and the performance of their offspring is also significant.
