臺灣少年小說中的新移民議題 ── 以張友漁《西貢小子》為觀察核心
The Issue of New Immigrantsin Taiwan Juvenile Novels ── Based on the Core Observation of “Saigong Kid” by Zhang Youyu
摘要
臺灣新移民的人口數，到民國一○三年（2014）四月為止，業已逼近五十萬人，實質上成為國內的「第五大族群」。面對這樣的發展趨勢，國內的相關研究文獻，雖然在社會學方面的論著不少，但針對「少年小說」文本作文學上及文化、社會方面的解讀，則顯得冷清許多。本論文意欲填補這個落差，因此擇定新移民少年小說為題材。 換言之，本論文以臺灣少年小說中的「新移民」議題為研究主軸，具體探討的文本則選定張友漁的《西貢小子》為觀察對象，箇中研究方法除了討論該本小說的敘事策略、寫作技巧、文學美感和人物形象之外，還將針對文本內容所涉及的新移民議題作國族、文化、性別、階級等四個面向的探討。 期待未來研究者可將文本對照新移民讀後觀感，分析他人再現與新移民自我感受的共鳴與衝突，增加研究深度與廣度。同時也衷心盼望臺灣創作者能持續關注此議題，創作新移民主題的文學作品，甚至由新移民、新移民子女書寫生命故事，從「他人代言」進展到「為自己發聲」。更希冀臺灣能尊重、接納新移民，讓她們真正感受到「日久他鄉是故鄉」。

The number of new immigrants in Taiwan has almost reached 0.5 million by April of 2014. In fact, new immigrants have become the fifth biggest group in Taiwan. Under this trend, there have been a number of relevant research documents concerning sociological studies. However, few papers have been done to explore this issue on literary, cultural and social dimensions revealed by juvenile novels. Thus, this paper focused on the issue of new immigrants in Taiwan juvenile novels. By introducing “Saigong Kid” written by Zhang Yuyou as the observation object, this paper carried out detailed discussion of this example to explore not only the narrative strategy, writing techniques, literature aesthetics and character images but also four dimensions of the new immigrant issue referred to in the novel, namely ethnic, culture, gender and class. For future researchers, comparison reading between the novel and its readers’ reviews on new immigrants is suggested,, so as to analyze the resonation and conflict between others’ reproduction and new immigrants’ own feelings, adding to the depth and scope of research. Meanwhile, it’s also preferred that writers in Taiwan will keep an unremitting attention on this issue and create more literary works regarding new immigrants. And new immigrants and their children are expected to come forward with their own biographies, making the leap from “be heard through voice of others” to “speak for themselves”. It’s our genuine wish that new immigrants would be accepted and treated with respect in Taiwan, assimilating into this new environment and even considering it the second home town someday.
