熟齡者的時尚觀之研究

摘要


本研究以質性研究法探討熟齡者的時尚觀,選定六位具有時尚概念的受訪員進行半結構性訪談,研究目的為:一、了解熟齡者對時尚的看法。二、探討熟齡者對於時尚消費的需求。三、探究熟齡者的時尚動機與實踐。 研究發現熟齡者會因為個人背景的限制性,而使得歸納的共通性中亦存有差異性。共通性部分從三項度:首先是對時尚看法主要是突顯個人魅力、綻放熟齡式青春;再來是探討時尚消費的需求,需要多元體貼的環境、對經典創新品特別青睞、美容產業增添熟齡風采;最後了解時尚表現的動機與實踐是,兼顧新三性─知性、感性和理性以及做自己,如此才是時尚生活的真諦。 本研究按深度訪談法,探討奉行時尚的熟齡者對「時尚」的展現理念以及依循法則。以主題分析的方式將熟齡者的時尚觀分成以下三點:「對時尚的看法」、「時尚消費的需求」,以及「時尚表現之動機與實踐」進行探討。研究結果如下: 一、 熟齡者的時尚認知 (一) 以健康的觀念面對生命,就能擁有時尚幸福人生 (二) 時尚是多元的展現,必須由內而外保有顛峰狀態,不讓歲月留下烙印 二、 熟齡對於「時尚消費」的需求 (一)美的感受之需求 (二)自信與自尊的需求 (三)社會互動的支持系統需求 (四)檢視與解讀社會文化變遷的需求 三、 熟齡時尚表現的目的與實踐 (一) 有意義的幸福人生 (二) 時尚生活符合熟齡社會期待 (三) 從熟齡時尚表現預見樂齡學習新概念 最後根據研究結論,提出以下建議: 一、 給成人教育機構的建議─時尚養成課程有助於活躍老化 二、 給業界的建議─熟齡市場以時尚文創為導向 三、 給公部門的建議─調整方針,熟齡美學啟動經濟新動能 關鍵字:熟齡、時尚觀、時尚消費、熟齡時尚、熟齡經濟、樂齡時尚學

Abstract This study investigates the view of seniors on fashion qualitatively by carrying out semi-structured interview with six participants. The selected participants must have a basic understanding in the concept of fashion. The objectives of this study are: Ⅰ.Understanding the views of seniors on fashion. Ⅱ.Investigate the consumer demand for fashion of seniors. Ⅲ.Investigate the fashion motives and practices of seniors. It was found that due to the restrictions in personal background, there are still differences in the concluded commonalities. Commonalities were considered from three aspects: First, the view on fashion which is mainly to highlight personality and release the vitality of seniors. Next, the investigation in consumers demand shows that the senior consumers demand for a more diverse and considerate environment, favour classically innovative products and demand for more options in aesthetic products for matures. Finally, the understanding in fashion motives and practices of seniors is to be myself while being sensible, perceptive and intellective. This study uses in-depth interview to investigate the participants’ fashion statements and concepts. By using thematic analysis, the participants’ view on fashion can be divided into three aspects: views on fashion, consumer demands and fashion motives and practices. The results are as followed: Ⅰ.Seniors’ perceptions towards fashion A. Live with healthy concept ensures happy fashion lives. B. Fashion is a diverse presentation; it is not only about physical appearance but also mentality Ⅱ.Senior consumers demand for fashion A. Aesthetic demands. B. Confidence and self-esteem demands. C. Social interaction support system demands. D. Examination and interpretation of social and cultural shift demands. Ⅲ.The motives and practices of senior fashion A. A meaningful and happy life. B. Fashion life justifies the expectation of the seniors. C. The concept of senior learning is foreseeable from the performance of senior fashion. Based on the conclusions, several suggestions are given: Ⅰ.Suggestions for senior learning organisations – fashion development course helps in active aging. Ⅱ.Suggestions for industries – seize the market of seniors led by cultures and creativity. Ⅲ.Suggestions for government – adjust policy to promote economic development in senior market.
