摘要


用戶選擇(user selection)演算法應用於多用戶多重輸入輸出(multiuser multipleinput-multiple-output, MU-MIMO)系統是近年來一個重要的議題。儘管窮舉法可以達到最高的系統傳輸率,但是由於其運算複雜度過高,所以如何設計一個有效率的的用戶選擇演算法使得系統可以用可接受的運算複雜度來實現合理的效能便是這方面研究的重點。此外,由於無線通訊的資源逐漸飽和,用更高頻帶傳輸結合大型天線陣列將是下世代無線通訊系統的設計方向。本論文探討在波束空間(beam space) 接收訊號概念下的用戶分組和波束選擇演算法,提出以用戶之間最大正交投影量(maximum orthogonal projection)、最大能量為準則之演算法、應用最大體積(maximum-volume, Maxvol)演算法取得較佳初始值的演算法和二階段波束窮舉演算法。另外本論文亦以模擬方式初步地探討了各種波束設計(beam patterns)特性對演算法的影響。

In a multiuser multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) system, user selection is known to be an important scheme for improving the system’s throughput. Although the optimal user selection can be realized by exhaustive search, its computational complexity is often prohibitive for practical applications. As a result, suboptimal user selection algorithms which can achieve a more balanced performance-complexity tradeoff are more desired. For massive MIMO systems operating at high frequency bands, the complexity of the conventional MU-MIMO systems with user selection can still be very high. As a result, we consider a new transceiver design which applies user grouping and beam selection algorithms over the beam space. A number of algorithms have been proposed in this thesis, including the maximum orthogonal projection algorithm, the maximum energy algorithm, and etc. We also briefly investigate the performance impact of several beam patterns with respect to our proposed algorithms.
