本研究旨在以家庭系統的觀點,瞭解雙生涯家庭夫妻在家庭動態歷程中,家庭角色的分工情況,並進一步瞭解雙生涯家庭夫妻在協調角色分工時,會產生的衝突與因應策略。本研究邀請到五對家中育有學齡期兒童以上的夫妻,進行半結構式深度訪談,並經主題分析歸納得到下四個主題: 一、雙生涯家庭夫妻家庭角色分工動態中轉換:雙生涯家庭夫妻的家庭角色係動態調整,分工原則講求適才適性、彈性分配。 二、家庭角色分工磨出種種苦澀:對雙生涯家庭而言,夫妻扮演多重角色壓力大,他人與個人對角色期待的落差,產生角色衝突。 三、夫妻在衝突中不斷協調,找出方法:個人自我心態調適,夫妻間相互尊重、包容、多溝通,才能真正化解衝突。 四、回首影響家庭角色調適的關鍵:雙生涯家庭夫妻的原生家庭、個人特質及家庭重大事件發生,是角色建構或調整的關鍵;而家庭系統中父母次系統支援功效大,但卻也出現過度干涉問題。 最後根據本研究之發現,提出對雙生涯家庭夫妻、家庭教育機構,以及婚姻或家庭研究者的建議。
This study examined the division of labor among family roles in the family dynamics of a dual career family from the perspective of the family system. The conflicts that arise during adjustments to these roles and the coping strategies used were also investigated. Five married couples with school-aged children were invited to participate in semi-structured in-depth interviews. Subsequent subject analysis compiled the following four subjects: 1. Alterations to the family role division of labor dynamic in dual career families: Family roles are adjusted as the family trajectory expands and the principles behind the division of labor emphasize suitability and flexibility. 2. Problems arising from family role division of labor: For dual career families, performing many roles produces large amounts of stress; failure to meet expectations creates role conflicts. 3. Constant adjustments made during conflicts: Adjusting personal mentality, mutual respect, tolerance, and communication are necessary to resolve conflicts. 4. Recollection of key factors influencing adjustments to family roles: Roles are built and adjusted based on the original family structure, individual personality traits, and major life events; the parental subsystem within the family system provides a great deal of support, but can also cause excessive interference. Lastly, suggestions for dual career families, family education institutions, and marriage and family researchers are provided based on these findings.
