本研究之目的乃針對隘寮南溪上游台灣杜鵑植物社會進行調查,共設置20個0.04 ha樣區,同時觀測7項環境因子。共紀錄到92科363種維管束植物。經雙向指標種分析與降趨對應分析將所有研究樣區分出4種植群型,分別為阿里山千金榆型、瓊楠-豬腳楠型、台灣杜鵑型以及細枝柃木-假長葉楠型。土壤含石率與DCA第一軸呈極顯著相關,海拔及地形位置則與DCA第二軸呈極顯著相關。植群型物種數以瓊楠-豬腳楠型為最高。瓊楠-豬腳楠型與細枝柃木-假長葉楠型之均勻度、Shannon-Wiener指數最高,兩者之間無顯著差異。台灣杜鵑型的Simpson指數最低。
The aim of this study is to research the communities of Rhododendron formosanum in Ailaonan upper river. 20 plots of 0.04 ha were laid and 7 environmental factors were observed. 363 species which belong to 92 families were found in study areas. Four vegetation types were identified using detrended correspondence analysis (DCA) and two-way indicator species analysis (TWINSPAN). The vegetation types were Carpinus kawakamii type, Rhododendron formosanum type, Eurya loquaiana-Machilus japonica type and Beilschmiedia erythrophloia-Machilus thunbergii type. The stone had significant correlation with the first axis of DCA, furthermore, the altitude and topographic position had significant correlation with the second axis. Beilschmiedia erythrophloia-Machilus thunbergii type had the highest amount of species. Beilschmiedia erythrophloia-Machilus thunbergii type and Eurya loquaiana-Machilus japonica type had the highest value of Evenness index and Shannon-Wiener index. Rhododendron formosanum type had the lowest value of Simpson index.
