本研究目的是在探討體適能瑜珈課程對女大學生自我認知之身體意象與身體質量指數的影響。本研究對象為48名女大學生,採立意分配成實驗組(體適能瑜珈組)與對照組。實驗組進行為期十二週,每週兩次的課程;對照組則是依照其原本運動習慣,唯在研究期間內不參與所有瑜珈課程,兩組均在課程開始前後進行前後測,其中,身體意象之評估以中文版「多向度自我身體關係問卷」(Multiple Body-Self Relation Questionnaire,簡稱 MBSRQ)為主要工具,所測得之數值以SPSS17.0軟體進行資料分析。 研究結果顯示:1.十二週體適能瑜珈課程對實驗組之身體意象有正面影響;2.十二週體適能瑜珈課程對實驗組身體質量指數無顯著影響,對照組則顯著增加;3.體適能瑜珈課程對實驗組對身體意象之改變,並非因為體重或身體質量指數下降而造成,而是對自我身體的認知產生了變化,顯示體適能瑜珈課程不僅是運動,同時對自我身體意象概念的建立是具有教育意義的。
The purpose of study was to determine the effect of Fitness Yoga Program Intervention on Body Image and Body Mass Index (BMI) in female university student. Forty-eight participants were divided into experimental (fitness yoga) and control group. Subjects in experimental group were trained for 1 hour per session, 2 sessions per week for 12 weeks. Participants in the control group had no intervention. The body image was evaluated by Multiple Body-Self Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ). Results: Body image was significantly improved after fitness yoga program, however, there was no different in BMI. The change of body image after fitness yoga program might due to change of body perception. It was concluded that fitness yoga program may have positive effect on physical fitness and body perception.
