This thesis uses case study methods to investigate the operation efficiency improvement project conducted during 2011 and 2012 by KM Container Transportation Company, and proposes a new approach to further improve the operation efficiency using 6 procedures. The results of this thesis show due to the methodology previously applied by KM..., the project conducted in 2011 and 2012 lacks of systematic processes. Further study, using 6 procedures, proposes by the author identifies 12 potential issues affecting the operation efficiency. Finally, the approach to implement a more systematic is suggested.
