屏東榮民之家戶外空間利用及植栽管理之研究

摘要

本研究旨在探討屏東榮民之家（以下簡稱榮家）戶外空間利用及植栽管理，研究方法包括文獻分析、實地調查及深度訪談。經由研究資料搜集調查，顯示榮家內活動空間相當廣闊，猶如許多大型公園，但是仍有行車動線、人行步道、照度及照明設施、座椅分佈、戶外休閒設施與植栽維護管理等課題。本研究針對榮家內阿勃勒花道設置為汽車管制區；人行步道兩旁種植綠籬，或鋪設草坪，減少土壤流失；昏暗處設置景觀燈提高照度；公共座椅分佈及樣式；安排植栽管理維護表與樹木不良枝修剪維護方式，以及有助於住民活動之戶外復健設施更新，使榮家成為更安全、更高品質的休閒與工作環境，並提供榮家內員工及住民更好的戶外休憩空間。

This study aims to investigate the outdoor space of elderly residency, researchs on routes, pedestrian on both sides, distribution of leisure facilities, vegetation maintenance and trimming etc of the Pingtung Veterans Home and suggests improvement. Research methods included the literature review, on-site investigation, and the analysis by using the real circumstance simulation. This research shows that the Veterans Home is quite and cozy. Yet, there are still some defects to the thirty-year-old Veterans Home. For example, the routes, distribution of recreational chairs and light, outdoor facilities, soil subsidence beside the pavements, plantation maintenance are all needed to improve. At the end, regarding of these problems, this research suggests outdoor routes, separating people and cars, setting up landscape street lamps and recreational chairs, planting hedges or lawns to stabilize the soil, plantation maintenance and principles, outdoor facilities for physical therapy which benefits the residents, and plant identification placards which has educational function. They will make the Veterans Home much more friendly and a comfortable environment. Therefore, it provides the residents with better outdoor recreation space.
