「蝶舞知本」戶外環境教育學習成效之研究

摘要


本研究之目的在於探討學生參加知本自然教育中心「蝶舞知本」課程方案之學習成效及學習感受。研究對象為參與「蝶舞知本」課程方案之國小學童,共計8所學校、14個班級、257個樣本。本研究根據該課程方案之教學目標設計學習成就測驗卷、學習感受問卷,運用問卷調查法獲得學童的成績、背景資料、學習感受同意度及學習感受滿意度、喜好活動的排序、印象深刻的事物或活動,進行描述性統計、獨立及成對樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析之量化研究,再以質性研究分析變數的平均數及其差量之原因。研究結果顯示:前測平均數與後測平均數由高至低排序均為「培養正確態度」、「認識蝴蝶」、「認識蝴蝶的生長環境」;學生在「認識蝴蝶的生長環境」構面的成績進步最多,「認識蝴蝶」居次,「培養正確態度」再次之。學生透過感官直接體驗的學習方式,前測成績與後測成績呈現顯著差異;中年級的成績進步情形優於高年級;學生學習動機越高、學習態度越積極的學校,成績進步情形越顯著。學生的學習感受同意度及學習感受滿意度很高。學生的成績進步情形和學習感受同意度、學習感受滿意度成正相關。四個年級最喜歡的活動均為以猜拳遊戲認識蝴蝶完全變態過程的【蝴蝶生活史】;喜好程度最低的活動亦非常一致,均為必須在戶外書寫學習單的【大自然的寶藏】。學生喜歡遊戲式的教學活動,教學活動能幫助學生克服懼怕接觸昆蟲的心理,教學現場常有意外的驚喜,活潑的教學方式增進學習效果。

The objective of this study is aimed to investigate the learning performance and perception of students after the participation of the ‘Butterfly dancing at Chipen’ lesson held by the Chipen Nature Education Center. After participating the lesson, a total of 257 samples were collected from students that came from 14 classes in 8 schools. Test sheets and questionnaire of learning perception were well designed based on teaching objective of the class.Students’ score,background data, degrees of agreement and satisfaction, ranks of favorable activities, and impressed objects and activities collected from questionnaire survey were quantitatively studied by descriptive statistics, independent and paired t-test, one-way ANOVA and finally cause and results were qualitatively analyzed. Results showed that: The ranking order from high to low in pre-test and post-test mean values were ‘Nurture of correct manner’ followed by ‘Knowing the butterfly’, and ‘Knowing the growth environment of butterfly’. Students showed higher progress in ‘Knowing the growth environment of butterfly’ followed by ‘Knowing the butterfly’and ‘Nurture of correct manner’; Significant difference between pre- and post-test in learning by direct sensory experience has been found. Progress in middle class students was higher than that of senior class students. Marked progress in score has been found for students with high learning motivation and schools that have aggressive learning attitude; It also found that students had higher degrees of agreement and satisfaction on whole activities. Students’progress was positively correlated with degrees of agreement and satisfaction; Students of 4 different grades showed that their favorable activities were the experiencing the ‘Whole life of butterfly’through the game of finger-guessing and the ‘Life cycle of butterfly’through the lesson on the procedure of complete metamorphosis. Lower favorable activities were uniformly found in ‘Treasury of nature’ that needed to write the answer sheets at outdoor; and The teaching activity of learning by playing could help students to overcome the fear in contacting the insect. Students’learning performance could be advanced with un-expected surprises generated by teaching site and the active and interesting teaching methods applied by the instructors.
