以專利分析觀點探討台韓領先造船公司技術發展

Exploring technology development of the leading shipbuilding company in Taiwan and South Korea based on patent analysis

摘要


全球造船市場競爭激烈,各國造船業者莫不以發展技術作為未來競爭的基石,並藉由專利權之保護,建構公司獨特之競爭優勢。根據世界智慧財產權組織的報告指出,專利說明書中含有將近90%~95% 之研發成果,善加利用專利資訊,可縮短60%的研發時間,節省將近40% 的研究經費。本研究藉由專利分析,比較南韓現代重工及台船公司專利技術發展趨勢,現代重工自1992至2013年已申請769件南韓專利,而台船目前僅有中華民國專利7件。利用技術功效分類圖及技術功效矩陣圖深入探討現代重工造船技術專利佈局,發現其專利佈局著重於製程、結構、推進系統,以及LNG/LPG運輸船等相關領域的技術,以這些技術為基底,達成提升生產力、改善推進效能、以及結構改良等效果,符合產業發展趨勢與法規潮流,可提供台灣造船產業學習培養自主核心技術能力與專利相關專業人才的方向規劃研發策略。

Shipbuilding industry constructed a unique competitive advantage by developing the technology as the cornerstone of future competition and using patents to protect innovation in the global competitive shipbuilding market. According to the World Intellectual Property Organization noted that the patent specification contains the nearly 90% to 95% technology information. Using patent information can reduce 60 % of the development time and save nearly 40 % of the research funding. This purpose of this research is to explore and compare the technology development trend of leading shipping companies in South Korea and Taiwan -- Hyundai Heavy Industries Corporation and CSBC Corp, Taiwan by using patent analysis. Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea has applied 769 patents from 1992 to 2013 and CSBC Corp, Taiwan has applied 7 patents in Taiwan. Using the cross table between technology efficacy and technical efficacy, the result showed that the patent portfolio of Hyundai Heavy Industries shipbuilding focused on processes , structures, propulsion systems and LNG / LPG carriers. The technical efficacy focused on raising productivity, improving propulsion performance, and improving ship structure that could fit the industry technology trend and regulatory trend. The result could s provide information for Taiwan's shipbuilding industry in core technical capabilities and patent-related professionals planning.
