臺灣櫸造林木修枝材加工與應用

摘要

政府推動了綠色造林計畫，增加臺灣森林覆蓋面積，人工造林過程中林木必須經過修枝的撫育過程，使得人工林可生長成期望林木。而經由此過程產生的修枝材屬於林木資源的一種，因此可加以開發為有經濟價值的工藝產品。本文以屏東縣臺糖林後農場第十區7年生臺灣櫸造林木為主要材料來源，以CNS 442木材之分類標準統計出12-15年生疏伐林木，直徑6-14cm長度35 cm所占的量最多。7年生的林木修枝材以直徑1-2cm長度30 cm所占的量最多。以CNS 452木材含水率測定標準，測得3 cm厚圓盤由生材68%至氣乾含水率20 %約需8天，而收縮率也趨近穩定。以CNS 459木材尺度收縮率測驗標準，測得圓盤直徑1cm及2cm厚的收縮率差異不大，但較大於直徑3cm 厚的圓盤。測收縮率過程發現修枝材皆有反應材之存在。橫斷加工評估中圓鋸機、角度裁斷機、懸臂機加工精準度較高，加工時間也較短；氣動式截斷機精準度較不高，加工時間也較長，但安全性則是最高。修枝材進行橫斷加工展現橫切面融入十二生肖意象吊飾，應用操作簡單，危險程度低的木工線鋸切割成形，讓臺灣櫸的環孔材等特徵表現出來，可以展現木材的美麗；亦使修枝材由廢棄的自然資源轉化成有價值的產品，使得林農在造林的過程有額外的收入可提高執行修枝撫育的工作，讓林木生長成[通直、圓滿、枝下高大]的期望林。

Transverse process assessment circular saw machine, angle saw, overhang saw can be a high precision machining, processing time is shorter; Wood cutting machin accuracy is not high compared with the processing time is longer, but it is the highest safety.Pruning timber be processed to show the transverse cross-section image of The 12 Animals of the Chinese Zodiac , simple to show the wood grain, use low degree of danger jig saw cutting wood molding, so that the Zelkova ring porous wood with other features shown, can show the beauty of wood; such materials are also pruning waste of valuable natural resources into craft products, making farmers in the process of afforestation have extra income can seriously executive branch pruning job, let trees grow into [straight, successful, under the tall branches] expectations forest.
