Ganoderma lucidum has since been considered to enhance resistance, and modern science has also confirmed that Ganoderma lucidum has anti-tumor and immune regulation of activity. Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide extract (G. lucidum) has been extensively studied as an immunomodulator and it can cause a strong immune response. In this study, the use of G. lucidum as an animal vaccine adjuvant is expected to enhance the antigenicity of the recombinant bactericide Pasteurella lipoprotein E (rPlpE). In the In vitro results, G. lucidum induced nitric oxide and Th1 cell-associated cytokines TFN-α and IL-12 in mouse macrophages. In vivo results showed that on the 14th day and 21st day, the total IgG was significantly higher in the group of adding adjuvant than group of antigen alone (P<0.05). G. lucidum as an adjuvant for animal vaccines not only enhance the immunogenicity of antigens, but also provides host protection earlier.
