背景:肌少症係為個體因老化導致骨骼肌流失、肌力衰退及生理表現下降;肌少症可能導致功能性體適能表現低落,進而影響日常生活。目的:本研究以多元性運動之特性,規劃八週長者運動課程,並探討課程介入對不同程度肌少症長者功能性體適能表現之效益。方法:研究者招募屏東縣萬丹鄉35人長者為研究對象,進行八週多元性運動課程;介入前後實施功能性體適能與肌少症檢測。所得資料以描述性統計、t-test及單因子共變數進行統計分析。結果:經八週多元性運動課程介入後,無肌少症長者在下肢肌力與上肢肌力均有顯著改善之效益;疑似肌少症組在身體質量指數、下肢肌力與上肢肌力達顯著改善;而肌少症組在腰臀圍比、下肢肌力、上肢肌力及下肢柔軟度達顯著改善。結論:短期(如八週)多元性運動課程,可改善不同程度肌少症長者之功能性體適能;本研究結果或能提供相關單位在擬定長者運動課程時之參考依據。
Background: The sarcopenia refers to the loss of skeletal muscle, decline in muscle strength and decline in physiological performance due to aging; sarcopenia may cause a decline in functional fitness, which may affect daily life. Purpose: This study aimed at using the characteristics of multi-component exercise to plan an eight-week exercise curriculum for the elderly and discussing the benefits of course intervention on the performance of functional fitness in elders with varying degrees of sarcopenia. Method: The researchers recruited 35 elders in Wandan Township, Pingtung County, as the research subjects, and conducted an eight-week multi-component exercise course; before and after intervention, functional fitness and sarcopenia tests were performed. The data obtained were analyzed statistically with descriptive statistics, t-test and one-way ANCOVA. Results: After the intervention of the eight-week multi- component exercise course, the elderly with no sarcopenia had significant improvement in lower extremity muscle strength and upper extremity muscle strength; the body mass index, lower extremity muscle strength and upper extremity muscle strength in the suspected sarcopenia group are significantly improved; while in sarcopenia group, waist-to-hip ratio, lower extremity muscle strength, upper extremity muscle strength and lower extremity softness were significantly improved. Conclusion: Short-term (eg, eight weeks) multi-component exercise courses can improve the functional fitness of elders with different degrees of sarcopenia; the results of this study may provide references for relevant units when formulating elder exercise courses.
