摘要

全球化的環境衝擊下，臺灣人的生活上無論在衣著、吃食、文化皆普遍受到西化影響。對於家具來說具在地的區域的文化獨特性就顯得尤為重要，中式家具作為東方社會物質與精神文化的一部份，在漫長的歷史上，因政治的因素、經濟的發展、生活的習慣皆會影響其藝術風格的發展，且帶有不同的精神感受。那我們現今的生活空間所選擇使用的家具，若只是再一昧追尋且複刻傳統的工藝作品時，就只是隨著前朝的設計風格，停留在那個時代未曾改變。
因此本創作以新中式家具設計做為創作的基礎，萃取中式家具空間中的椅凳、茶几、桌案、小物進行案例發展，利用發展出的元素設計出具有現代簡約的家具產品，並連接中式文化與家具設計之間的關聯，最終以家具設計作為創作。並以中式家具的文化意象延伸創作的內涵，使家具不只是表面形式的設計，且具更深層的文化意涵。最終將創研究以個人展覽的形式來對新中式家具的造作進行發表論述。

Under the impact of globalization, The lives of Taiwanese people are generally affected by Westernization, both in terms of clothing, food and culture. For furniture in the local regional cultural uniqueness is particularly important, Chinese furniture as a part of the eastern social material and spiritual culture, in the long history, because of political factors, economic development, life habits will affect the development of its artistic style, and with different spiritual feelings. Then the furniture we choose to use in our living space today, if only a repeat of the pursuit and re-engraving of traditional craft works, it is only with the design style of the forwards, stay in that era for the change.

Therefore, this paper takes the new Chinese furniture design as the basis of creation, extracts the chinese furniture space in the chair stool, coffee table, table case, small things for case development, using the developed elements to design a modern simple furniture products, and connect the relationship between Chinese culture and furniture design, and finally to furniture design as the creative design. And the cultural image of Chinese furniture extends the connotation of creating furniture, so that furniture is not only the design of surface form, but a deeper cultural meaning. Finally, the works will be published in the form of a solo exhibition on the creation of new Chinese furniture.
