本研究採個案研究法,以研究者所任教的國中七年級學習扶助學生為研究對象,個案學生英語學習動機低落,接受學習扶助意願不高,英語閱讀能力約落在小學三年級至六年級不等。研究目的為探討Cool English英語線上學習平臺融入學習扶助教學之課程設計與歷程,以及其對國中學生學習動機與成就之影響,並透過觀察、訪談、問卷以及測驗進行資料蒐集與分析。主要研究結果如下並於文末提出建議。 一、Cool English英語線上學習平臺融入學習扶助之課程設計與歷程 二、Cool English英語線上學習平臺融入學習扶助之學生英語學習動機高,專注力高且態度積極,參與學習扶助意願提高 三、Cool English英語線上學習平臺融入學習扶助可提昇學生英語閱讀能力之成就表現,進步率達252.27% 四、研究者在實施過程針對所遇到的問題包括教師在課堂中的角色轉變以及如何滿足學生個別需求等均提出因應之道
This research adopts a case study method, taking the seventh grade remedial students who are taught by the researcher as the research object. The subject students have low English learning motivation and unwilling to attend remedial courses. Their English reading ability fell from the 3rd to 6th grade. The purpose of the research is to investigate the process of the curriculum design and explore the effects of applying “Cool English” online teaching materials into English remedial instruction on the learning achievement and motivation of junior high school students. The data was collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires and tests. The research conclusions are as follows: 1. The process of the curriculum design for applying "Cool English" to Junior High School Students' Remedial Instruction 2. Applying "Cool English" to Junior High School Students' Remedial Instruction can prompt students’ high learning motivation, high concentration, positive attitude and willingness to the remedial instruction. 3. Applying "Cool English" to Junior High School Students' Remedial Instruction can improve students' learning achievement on English reading, and the rate of progress reaches 252.27%. 4. Researcher found some problems encountered in the implementation of Applying "Cool English" to Junior High School Students' Remedial Instruction, including the teacher's role change in the classroom, and how to meet the individual needs of students, and suggests solutions.
