探討中高強度運動期間佩戴布質口罩或醫用口罩對大學運動員血氧飽和度與自覺費力程度之影響

摘要


目的:本研究主要探討受試者在中高強度運動期間不戴口罩、佩戴布質口罩與醫用口罩對血氧飽和度(SpO2)的影響,同時以自覺強度量表(RPE),評估運動中的身體感覺。方法:本研究以大學運動員男生5位、女生3位,共8人為研究對象。研究設計採每個受試者作為自己的對照,分別在無口罩、布質口罩、醫用口罩等三種情境下進行試驗。研究工具為指夾式脈搏血氧儀與自覺強度量表,觀察受試者運動期與恢復期的血氧飽和度變化量。所得資料以描述性統計、單因子相依變異數分析進行比較。結果:根據統計結果,研究者發現在中高強度運動時戴口罩對運動期、恢復期之血氧飽和度無顯著差異、對自覺強度亦無顯著差異;但在高強度運動時,佩戴口罩會增加自覺強度,配戴布質口罩比醫用口罩更加明顯(t =19.45, p< .05)。結論:在運動期間應首選醫用口罩,其功效、耐受性和舒適程度較布質口罩為佳。

Purposes: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of wearing no mask, cloth mask and medical mask on blood oxygen saturation (SpO2),as well as the rating of perceived exertion during moderate-to-high intensity exercise among college athlete students. Methods: 5 male students and 3 female students participated in this study. Each student received diverse conditions by wearing different mask, such as cloth and medical mask. The tools of this study were pulse oximeter and rating of perceived exertion, which to observe the change in oxygen saturation during exercise and recovery stages. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and repeated measured one-way ANOVA. Results: (1) there was no significant difference on blood oxygen saturation while subjects wearing different mask during moderate to high-intensity exercise. (2) similar results were found in the high-intensity exercise and recovery stages. (3) regarding the rating of perceived exertion, there was no difference in the moderate intensity exercise condition, however, wearing a mask during high-intensity exercise will increase the rating of perceived exertion, especially in wearing cloth masks. Conclusions: According to the results, the researchers suggested that medical masks might be welcomed for moderate to vigorous exercise, as they appear to be more comfortable than cloth masks.
