Nowadays, social media platforms have become an indispensable part of people's daily life, and many companies and businesses have set up their own social media platform accounts for promotion. Most of the studies on inaccurate messages are about users' motivation to share them, and most of the reports are focused on the reports within the organization, but there are fewer studies on the intention of reporting inaccurate messages. Therefore, it is important to find out the factors influencing the reporting of inaccurate messages. This study uses "social cognitive theory" and "altruism" as the basic research model, and combines "reporting self-efficacy", "new media literacy", and "ethics" to develop an integrated model. The results showed that: (a) the importance of new media literacy to the general public will affect the intention to report, (b) altruism is an important influence on the intention to report, (c) critical literacy will negatively affect the intention to report, (d) self-efficacy of reporting is proved to be effective in influencing the intention to report and is one of the The findings of this study will help other scholars to better understand the factors that affect the intention to report.
