憂鬱傾向對於台灣地區老年人利用預防保健服務之影響

目標：本研究目的在探討憂鬱傾向對台灣地區65歲以上老年人預防保健服務利用之相關影響因素。方法：資料來自「2005年國民健康訪問調查」，65 歲以上之個人問卷，依變項為預防保健服務利用，主要控制變項以Andersen（1968）所提出醫療服務模型為基礎，將需要因素中之自覺狀況以憂鬱傾向作為衡量。統計方法以羅吉斯迴歸（Logistic Regression Analysis）對不同性別之老年族群分別進行分析。結果：研究結果顯示，憂鬱傾向對於不同性別族群之預防保健服務利用影響程度不同，但皆與預防保健服務利用呈現負相關，顯示出有憂鬱傾向者愈不會去利用預防保健服務。結論：憂鬱傾向為影響男性族群利用預防保健服務之顯著不利因子。因此，如何提升有憂鬱傾向者預防保健服務利用率，將是重要的課題。

Objectives: This study aims to investigate the relationship between the depression and the utilization of preventive health service among the elderly in Taiwan. Methods: We used data obtained from the 2005 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS), for age over 65’s personal questionnaire, the dependent variable is utilization of preventive health services, the independent variables are base on the initial behavioral model which Andersen (1968) proposed, and we use the depression as a proxy for the perceived of need. A logistic regression is adopted to analyze the elderly in different gender separately. Results: This study shows that the relationship between the depression and the utilization of preventive health services is negative, and there is difference degree in gender. Showing that who has the more depression will not obtain the preventive health services. Conclusions: The depression is the significantly adverse factor in male for utilization of preventive health services. Therefore, how to improve the utilization of preventive health services of the elderly with depression will be an important issue.
