融入唐詩情境之臺灣鳥類印花圖案應用設計

摘要

由於現代生活節奏緊迫，人們開始重新檢視工作及生活質量與心靈幸福的平衡，將豐富心靈幸福做為樂活概念的生活目標。早於中國唐朝，詩人便以生活中的感悟或思念意涵，透過書寫詩歌來抒情、言志與詠物，使人們感到自由愉悅，並從心靈及行為上獲得解脫。本創作選用象徵掙脫束縛飛向自由之「鳥類圖像」，將鳥語意象應用於隨處可見的印花圖案設計中，搭配情感細膩豐沛的主題唐詩，作為現代人抒發情緒壓力的借鏡並體悟傳統文化之美，從傳統中發現新意以呈現整體圖像的創作表現。本創作以文獻分析法歸納出唐詩所描繪之臺灣鳥類，與詩作敘情之意涵呈現，並結合臺灣現今環境氛圍，創造出臺灣的特有印花圖案；創作風格參究美術工藝運動的時代背景精神與新藝術運動的視覺表現技法，進一步在傳統詩句中加入現代語彙，詮釋出新興的視覺樣貌，結構上運用平面構成基本元素和形式原理相互應用，倡導藝術設計的實用性和傳統文化的思想傳承。

Because of the increased tempo of modern life, people are beginning to re-examine the balance between work, quality of life, and spiritual well-being, and have set their spiritual well-being as the goal to achieve lifestyles of health and sustainability (LOHAS). As early as the Tang Dynasty, poets have used lyrics, expressions, and wordplay in poems to express their sentiments, thoughts, and insights in daily life. Poetry allowed people to feel free and joyful, and gave them spiritual and behavioral relief. To create the print patterns introduced in this study, images of birds were used to symbolize the escape from all constraints and the pursuit of freedom. Imageries of birds were added in the design of commonly found print patterns. Tang poetry, with its fine, intricate portrayal of emotions, was used as an example to show contemporary people how to relieve their emotional stress, to teach them about the beauty of traditional culture, to allow them to find new meaning in classical literature, and to create the rendering of complete images. Using a literature analysis method, this study identified Taiwanese birds illustrated in Tang poetry and combined them with Taiwan’s modern environment to produce print patterns unique to Taiwan. The creative style referenced the spirit of the Arts and Crafts Movement and the visual presentation techniques from the Art Nouveau period. Modern vocabularies were added in the traditional poetry to produce novel visual images. Structurally, the plane composition and the principle and form methods were used interchangeably to exemplify the practicality of these artistic designs, and to transmit traditional cultural ideas.
