以通用設計觀點探討高齡者沐浴椅 之研究
A study of the Elderly Bathing Chair from the Viewpoints of Universal Design
摘要
近年來，台灣邁入高齡化社會，許多商品為了滿足更多的使用者，在產品設計時，導入了通用設計。以通用設計觀點進行設計，且讓使用者能夠在最輕鬆自在的狀態下使用產品，並減少使用意外的產生，讓使用者在身心理得到較大的滿足，此為通用設計的目的。 本研究以通用設計觀點探討沐浴椅，為了使高齡者能夠順利完成沐浴行為，滿足自我的需求，且在沐浴過程中能以安全又輕鬆的方式進行，在沐浴椅的設計過程中，參考日本中川聰先生的設計概念與應用UD進行整合性設計的方法探討。透過目前高齡者對於沐浴椅的使用習慣加以檢視，再以通用設計七原則與三附則為出發點，改善高齡者的使用需求，提出可滿足高齡者需求的沐浴椅。最後，將本設計沐浴椅與市售沐浴椅進行評估，並由通用設計之五項指標安全行、使用性、美觀性、操作性及經濟性，檢視沐浴椅在各項指標的成效。 以通用設計進行沐浴椅設計，並藉由現代高齡者沐浴的習慣與沐浴椅之關係探討，可改善高齡者的使用需求，並可作為後續研究或設計之指引。

In recent years, Taiwan has been an aging society. In order to satisfy more users, many products are designed based on the universal design. Allowing users to use the products comfortably, and reducing the accident while using the products, are the purpose of universal design. The study investigate the bathing chair through the perspective of universal design. In order to let the elderly take bath smoothly, safely and easily during the process, to meet their requirement, the design of bathing chair was based on Mr. Satoshi Nakagawa's concept and the application of UD. After investigating the current usage habit of the elderly using bathing chair, the designer propose a new design of bathing chair on the basis of seven principles and three supplementary principles of universal design. The newly designed bathing chair aims at improving the using situation and meeting requirements of the elderly. Finally, the study evaluates the newly designed bathing chair and market-available bathing chairs by the 5 indicators of universal design: safety, usability, beauty, operation, and economical, to see the result of each indicator. Designing bathing chair based on universal design, and investigating the relation between the elderly bathing habit and bathing chair, can improve the using situation and meet the requirement, and also became the guideline of the future studies.
