With the rapid development of science and technology, multimedia has gradually been utilized in classroom teaching, and the use of interactive multimedia is considered as a means to enrich the curriculum, convey information, and increase student interest in a pluralistic way. In order to cultivate environmental awareness and strengthen knowledge of the endemic species of flora and fauna from an early age, this study designed a 40-minutes curriculum that integrates storytelling into interactive multimedia. The teaching material is based on the picture books published by the administration of the National Park of Taiwan. The target group are 3rd and 4th grade students from elementary school in Taiwan. The objectives of this research are to explore the use of interactive multimedia that effectively improves student’s learning efficiency and enhance learning motivation as compared with the traditional instruction tools. Through a series of field test of the pedagogical material, the target audience showed positive response and feedbacks from users were collected and analyzed.
