互動情境下虛擬實境網頁與科學知識內容建構

摘要


網路資訊的展現已經從文字模式演進到虛擬實境,雖然整體環境還未成熟,卻也呈現蓄勢待發的態勢。本文以主題創作的形式,討論未來虛擬實境網頁特徵與使用性的可能發展。其基本概念在將網路世界視為一個可任意連結的多維空間,文字、影像、介面、立體物件和模擬情境,皆能透過互動設計的運作交叉展現。而使用者可以在設計師所創造出的虛擬實境網頁中體驗情境轉換,進行另一種網際網路的資訊探索。 本文以自然科學知識的組織與展示為主題,轉藉台中自然科學博物館的恐龍廳為虛擬實境場景的基礎。創作過程先廣泛收集相關的恐龍資料,再結合網路資訊與介面設計原則,發展網路資訊之虛擬實境展演架構。過程中整合了MAYA、3D Max等繪圖軟體與Virtools虛擬實境引擎的功能,進行虛擬場景與互動內容的創作,資訊整備與使用者介面則以ASP結合Access予以設計實現。 創作成果分為三個主要的虛擬實境網頁,可讓瀏覽者透過互動介面,以不同的操作方式、視角,感受與體驗虛擬場景展現的視覺情境,再佐以多媒體內容以及生動的互動模式,表達領域知識與引領使用者進行差異化學習。整體成果經過使用者測試與意見回饋,呈現出,由於內容生動提高了瀏覽者深入體驗的期望,進而促進知識學習與資訊認知的良好成效。此外,作者利用本主題所建構的虛擬場景與角色,發展一詮釋動物與生態保護觀念的3D動畫,充分展現虛擬實境內容的發展性與豐富性。

The representing of Internet information has been already from text mode to virtual reality (VR) way. Though the whole environment has not been ripe yet, also present the situation of saving up strength to start out. This thesis is based on the subject oriented and focused on the discovering the possibility of characteristics and usability of VR webpage. Regarding network world as a multidimensional space that can be linked at will in its basic conception where characters, image, interface, three-dimensional objects and simulation scenery, can all represent alternately through the interactive design. And the user can experience the variational situation and explore the information in the VR webpage that was created by the designer. This thesis regards organization and show of natural science knowledge as the theme which was transferred and made use of the dinosaur hall of Natural Sciences Museum in Taichung to build up the VR contents. Creator collected the relevant dinosaur materials extensively and then integrated the design principles of user interface to develop the representation framework of VR webpage. In order to create the VR contents creator combined MAYA, 3DS Max and Virtools as the scenery creation, interactive media and VR engine resources. Information reorganizing and user interface presenting were implemented with ASP and Access. The creation is divided into three main VR webpages which can be browsed by interactive interface and variant devices to experience the information and scenery in different way of learning and discovering. The whole achievement was tested with suggestion feedback through the users who indicated that the contents are vivid and plentiful enough to promote the expectation and effect on the learning. Furthermore, the author utilized the VR contents and characters to develop a 3D animation which was focused on the annotation of animal and ecological protection. The achievements fully represent the expansiveness and abundance of VR contents.
