建構網路視訊結合虛擬教室之協同學習系統於華語文化教學

Constructing Online Video-Conferencing with Virtual Classroom for the Collaborative Learning of Teaching Chinese in Intercultural Communication

摘要


基於華語教學之本質,主張不同語言文化背景之外國人士應有不同的數位教學溝通模式,其內容、教學法、線上活動及評量亦應有不同的形式。因此,線上協同學習系統必須整合網路資料管理與多媒體技術,從而規劃、設計與發展有助於教學之教材整備、線上自學、同步視訊教學、課後複習、回饋分享、歷程管理、成效評量與線上測驗的網路互動式功能和多媒體內容。 為了體現上述研發要項,本研究以滿足使用者需求為前提,進行以下研發工作:(1)融入Web2.0社群模式的平台架構與學習管理功能;(2)備有影音串流、檢索功能的多媒體文化內容;(3)發展課文之情境式圖像元件庫與文義理解自述分享功能;(4)設計符合使用習性的系統介面;(5)發展學習歷程管理與分析模組,以及可呈現多媒體資料的線上學習評量模組,以有效管理學習品質與成效;(6)建立3D虛擬教室並結合網路視訊功能實踐協同學習。 程序上本研究結合需求發現與UML系統分析法、功能架構分析法、線上學習平台不同人格特質使用者回饋等方法,形成的協同學習社群之互動績效與介面功能易用性評估等。以豐富性網際網路應用(Rich Internet Application, RIA)與多人連線虛擬環境(Multi-User Virtual Environments, MUVEs)技術,實現同步於相關學習內容,並透過社交互動方式來輔助學習者以更直覺形式學習。藉由本計畫所建構的輔助學習內容、字詞情境元件資料庫和課文插圖,以及線上學習社群建構的協同教學知識,將有助於線上教師協助進階華語學習者,建立良好的口語表達和溝通能力。

Based on the essence of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, it advocates that different linguistic and cultural backgrounds of foreigners should have a different model of communication in E-learning. Simultaneously, content, teaching methods, online activities and assessments should also have different types. Therefore, it is necessary tol combine the network multimedia technology, such as interface design, database, interaction and feedback mechanism, and streaming cultural contents for building the learning environment, to construct the platform for online Video-learning for learning advanced Chinese Language. In order to achieve the previous investigation works, the goals of this study are: 1) conducting the teachers/students to their culture interaction by the implementation of digital learning Web2.0 mechanism, 2) implement the multimedia content with streaming and searching functionality, 3) develop image library of the situational context of the text and the readme function for present self-understanding, 4) design the system user interface to meet the habits of American high school students, 5) link the teaching platform of cooperative industry in US. To develop the learning portfolio and analysis module, and 6) implement the online collaborative learning through the combination with 3D virtual classroom and video conferencing. In the process of this investigation, the author applied the research methods which are requirements elicitation with Unified Modeling Language(UML)system analysis, function analysis, multiple assessment methods and the effects evaluation of collaborative learning community and user interface usability. Eventually, the online supporting platform is implemented by Adobe Flex with Reach Internet Application (RIA) technique, which will be used to represent learning content and manage the online video conferencing data for intercultural communication in the advanced class of online Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.
