摘要

客家民間歌曲藉由旋律、歌詞記錄民族的文化與語言，對於文化傳承貢獻甚多，不僅替過往的時空背景留下足跡，更讓後生晚輩透過歌曲了解客家先民的開墾過程。民歌，記錄了當代也讓後輩能夠飲水思源，本創作關注客家民歌中的愛情類民歌，以唱片包裝設計為載體，針對各愛情民歌進行單曲唱片包裝設計。藉由單曲唱片包裝的方式，將各首歌曲之意境進行探討與設計，將包裝不僅作為包裝商品之用，同時也存在了說故事的角色，向觀者訴說著每首歌曲背後的故事。
本創作首先針對客家民歌進行探討，釐清客家民歌種類與定義，作為創作題材蒐集的標準，並蒐集與探討愛情相關理論與譬喻理論作為後續主題分析時之依據。接著分析當前的客語專輯包裝，探討其視覺表現形式，並確立後續創作之表現媒材。此外，藉由探討相關案例，歸納其表現手法與理念，作為本創作之思考架構。
創作階段，則將主題歌曲進行愛情理論分析，並結合譬喻理論以及樣本分析所得之結果完成歌曲視覺創作，並將成品公開展演。

As great contribution has been made to carry on the cultural legacy, the Hakka folk songs use the melody and lyrics to record the beauty of its people’s culture and language. The Hakka folk songs have not only retained the trace of the past, but also gave the younger generation a chance to understand the pioneer progress of the ancestors. The folk songs have recorded the contemporary and allowed the descendants to appreciate their roots. This creative research targets on the love song types of the Hakka folk songs. Taking the cover design of the album as the subject, each folk love song is paired with its unique design format. The prospect of each song is closely examined to develop the design. The goal is not only to carry out the practical use of the cover wrapping but also transform the cover into the story-teller. The cover designs aim to convincingly deliver the background story to every reader.

This creative research has devoted efforts into the study of the Hakka folk songs. With the investigation on the various types and the definitions of the folk songs, the research has based on the experience as the standard for the design. We have collected and studied theories and explanatory implications about love as references to back up the designing mindset. We then applied analysis toward the Hakka album design, studied its visual expression, and then confirmed on the design subject. In addition, we have also studied other relevant cases and concluded their expressional methods as the creative research’s component and structure.

All topic songs are analyzed with theories of love songs along with the explanatory implications integrated to generate the complete visual creative expression. The entire artwork of the cover design is arranged for public exhibition.
