近年來在網路上興起一陣像素藝術的風潮,畫面具有鋸齒狀效果的特殊風格。早期電腦因為硬體支援不足,只能以低彩度與低解析來表現,而這種像素創作最常應用在像手機、或是掌上遊戲機這類小螢幕的畫面顯示。不過近期所謂「像素藝術」已經不僅僅是純粹的實務應用考量而已,更加入了創作者的靈魂,其創作也不再只是單純在圖示上做文章,如今有更多人是朝著大尺寸與複雜的構圖來做為他們表現的舞台,憑藉其獨特的造型及表現形式,像素畫自成一格化為數位影像藝術的一個分支。 本研究由自主開發之App遊戲《口袋裡的福爾摩沙》開展探討像素藝術在遊戲創作上的運用與研究,切入並整合App遊戲的特性,探討遊戲玩家對於行動裝置遊戲設計要素的分析與探討,構築遊戲機制的設計:分析遊戲元素、建立雛型、檢視需求腳本、完成遊戲開發。本研究結果提供像素藝術的創作重點外、也試著提出各種RPG遊戲在遊戲開發會遭遇的問題與解決方法,可供為未來,資訊或文創相關從事人員在執行行動裝置App遊戲設計開發時,將像素藝術的藝術形式帶入App遊戲開發與藝術創作方面的參考依據。
Recently the special style of tooth border created by Pixel art has become popular in the internet again. The lack and the limit of the hardware in early year causes the low-reslution output. This technique is mostly used for mobile device or handheld. However, nowadays Pixel art is not just a simple technique but also a kind of style for designers to show themselves. More and more people use Pixel art to design big size projects. It’s a special effect and a modeling technigue to make Pixel art as an branch of digital image art. In this thesis, App《Formosa in My Pocket》is used to discuss the special features of using Pixel art in the game design. We also integrate with the features of App games to discuss what players really want. In this thesis, it includs game elements, prototype design, making a list of program, completing the product……. The contribution of the analysis is guiding a bright way for those people who want to use Pixel art as their tool and letting them to know how to utilize Pixel art smartly.
