According to Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders (DSM-IV-TR), the lack of social behavior is a standard diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The aim of the study is to develop a game-based learning approach to enhance the ASD children’s ability to express facial emotion and communicate with others in social activities. The interactive game involved in facial emotion expression is developed and evaluate by the experiment and the interview method. The subjects have two groups. Each group is composed of one autistic child and eight his(her) healthy peers. The measurement tools include Facial Expression Scores, Pre-pro Peer Rating Scale, and Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale. Besides, the expert interview is used to acquire the qualitative opinion. The results yield as follows: 1. The interactive game involved facial emotion expression could improve the ability of the autistic children to use their facial expression. 2. The interactive game involved facial emotion expression could enhance the acceptance of the High Function Autism children by their peers. 3. The interactive game involved facial emotion expression could promote the High Function Autism children to corporate with their peers.
