應用於LTE之小型化平面天線

Study of Miniaturized Planar Antennas for LTE

摘要


在無線網路通訊,需要能進行收發訊號的天線,而手機天線須符合輕、薄、短小的需求。隨著科技進步,手機頻段從早期GSM 900/1800(2G)到現在智慧型手機普遍使用的多媒體傳輸UMTS 2100(3G)以及正在發展的LTE 700/900/1800/2100/2300/2600(4G)。本文提出應用於LTE之小型化平面天線,其中微帶線的特性阻抗為50Ω,天線製作在厚度0.8mm的FR4板上,尺寸大小為125×60×0.8mm3,天線尺寸為50×10×0.8mm3。此一天線為多頻頻帶,設計原理主要結合單極天線與金屬接地路徑所組成,利用單極天線與PIFA架構共振出1800/2300GHz 模態,再由接地路徑共振出900/2600GHz模態,設計頻帶為LTE 900/1800/2300/2600GHz。本論文應用HFSS模擬軟體驗證,並進行實作量測,結果呈現出900/1800/2300/2600GHz皆包含於頻帶中。

Cell phone antennas with light, thin, short and small are widely adopted in wireless network communication. The frequency bands included are the GSM 900/1800 (2G), UMTS 2100 (3G), as well as the evolving LTE 700/900/1800/2100/2300/2600 (4G). This paper presents the miniaturized antennas applicable for LTE, in which the characteristic impedance of microstrip is 50Ω. The proposed antenna was printed on FR4 substrates, and the size is 125×60×0.8mm3. This antenna is a dual-frequency band, and is combination of monopole antenna and coupled PIFA antenna. The design frequency bands are for LTE 0.9/1.8/2.3/2.6GHz. The simulator HFSS is employed for simulation and results show that 0.9/1.8/2.3/2.6GHz are included in the band.
