活躍於幕末到明治時代的女性—廣岡淺子

從江戶幕府末期進入到明治時代，日本的維新志士們建立了明治新政府，推行了一系列現代化的改革，也確立了日本的天皇制度和新的行政體系。無論哪方面的改革，都是需要各界人士共同努力的。 2015年9月日本NHK電視台播放改編自古川智映子的『小說　土佐堀川』的晨間劇「阿淺來了」，其中的主角就是幕末到明治時期活躍於企業界、保險業界和教育界的廣岡淺子。在一般人普遍認為「女子不需要接受教育」的時代，豪商家庭出身的淺子，從小就和一般的大家閨秀不同。她對算術有興趣，嫁入夫家加島屋之後開始經手夫家的事業，隨後創立了大同生命保險公司、日本女子大學，晚年還創辦了夏期女子會，對日本的企業界和教育界，以及女性社會地位的提升做了很大的貢獻。本論文針對廣岡淺子的生平與貢獻為研究的主軸，並研究與淺子相關的企業以及與淺子有共同理想的女性們。透過對廣岡淺子的研究，了解在日本女性社會地位不高的年代，淺子是如何逐漸改變世人對女性「賢妻良母」的刻板印象，並影響了後世許多女性，在提升女性社會地位上做出的諸多貢獻。

From Bakumatsu to Meiji Restoration, Japan ended its isolationist foreign policy known as sakoku and changed from a feudal Tokugawa shogunate to the pre-modern empire of the Meiji government. The morning drama “あさが来た”which was made from NHK ,playing from September 2015, was adapted from the novel “小說　土佐堀川”original. The main character was Hirooka Asako, who gave a great contribution to Japan’s educational circles and business community. Under the traditional idea about “A woman who lacks talent is virtuous”, Asako, who was born from a rich merchant family, began to weary of the traditional idea since she was a child. After she married with the other rich merchant in Osaka, she started to learn counting, business management and started to run her husband’s business. Also, she established an insurance company, setting up the Japan Women's University and hold the summer study session in her later years. In thesis, “The active woman from Bakumatsu to Meiji Restoration— About Hirooka Asako” to explore Asako’s personal conviction about improve women’s society status, the business she has found, and also consider the women who got positive influence from Asako. I hope to better understand the contributions they have done for the society of Japan from Bakumatsu to Meiji Restoration.
