身心障礙兒的母職壓力研究

A Study on Motherhood Stress of Raising Disabled Child

摘要


由於身心障礙兒的照護與教育問題逐漸受到重視,而家庭成員扮演重要的照護者角色,其中又以母親的照護工作最為重要。為瞭解身心障礙兒母親所面臨的照護壓力,本研究採用深度訪談法,以 10 位高中階段身心障礙兒的母親為訪談對象,藉以剖析身心障礙兒的母職壓力、家庭角色分工對母親的影響、及母親對身心障礙兒的期待等問題。研究結果顯示:母親通常會因為自覺內疚、身心障礙兒的就學問題、工作與照護的兩難等因素,造成母職照護上的壓力。在家庭分工方面,父親通常在身心障礙兒的照護上投入相對較少,以至於母親的照護負擔更為加重。此外期望身心障礙兒未來能自立,是身心障礙兒母親普遍的期待。

Because of the care and education of the disabled child gradually be taken seriously, the family members play an important role, the mother's care is the most important work among them. To find out the care stress of disabled children mothers, this study adopts method of in-depth interviews narrated by ten mother of the high school disabled child, in order to analyze the motherhood stress of the disabled child, the mother's roles of the family labour, mother's expectations and other issues. The findings are as follows: the mother is usually conscious guilt for disabled child, enrollment restrictions of disabled child, the choice between work and care and other factors, the stress on motherhood care is resulted by above. Because the father is usually put on the disabled children's care more less then mother, the burden on the mother's care is more serious. Also mother hope disabled children to be able to live an independent life with dignity.
