In this thesis, the concept of strong synchronization is introduced and the chaos synchronization of uncertain Duffing-Holmes chaotic system is investigated. Based on the time-domain approach, a tracking control is proposed to realize strong synchronization for the uncertain Duffing-Holmes chaotic system with any pre-specified exponential convergence rate. The critical time can also be correctly estimated. Finally, some numerical simulations with application are provided to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the obtained result.
